Domaine du Roy

It’s amazing that so much love and care can go into a wine that sells for less than $15.  Anne-Cécile Roy got an oenology degree in order to follow in the family wine business.  Like many of her generation, she converted to organic farming and began a regimen of natural winemaking that eschews artificial yeasts and enzymes.    The 10 hectares of vineyards are planted on the flinty-clay slopes of the right bank of the Cher River, a tributary to the Loire.
