Iota Cellars

Iota means a “small amount” and here it refers to not just small production but attention to detail and the close inspection of every element. Iota Cellars is a partnership between Johanna and Don Sandberg and Lynne and Perry Pelos.

They started in 2000 farming grapes in the 11.5 acre Pelos-Sandberg vineyard planted in the Amity-Eola Hills AVA in the southern part of the Wilamette Valley. In 2006, Johanna, the winemaker, produced their first vintage of pinot noir.
